Go Up Go Down

I have been mostly looking for references to the skull cup, but aside from the Snow skull I haven't found anything.

number 1&2 Here is another letter from Maynard telling of the account. It appears to me Maynard is talking about boarding Teach's ship which is not how the story usually is told. 2 April 1719 Weekly Journal & British Gazetteer

Number 3 is a notice of a ship taken by captain Teachy, glad that name never stuck or he would never have become so famous! January 11 1718 Weekly Journal & British Gazetteer

And number 4 is the loss of the Queen Ann's Revenge with all hands including the captain. Bet that celebration didn't last long!  Grin Aug 16 1718 Weekly Journal & British Gazetteer

And the last one from Feb 28 1719 Weekly Journal & British Gazetteer sounds like things are getting hot for pirates in the New England area.

Doh! sorry guys I'll see if I can make jpgs then. The PDFs are much easier to read but most of these are small articles so hopefully you can read them.
Here is the letter from Maynard 25 April 1719
Hopefully you can read these.

Thanks Idaho Jones

The early newspapers really put into perspective the most likely events that happened.

Good read.

Glad to hear that Seldom, I was worried they were getting broken somehow.
Could be outdated version as I have version 9 at the house but acrobat has no legacy save that I can see.
