I have spent hours this winter running black sand thru my blue desert fox concentrattor- seems to work quite well although I make sure that some black sand goes intothe collector cup so that only a minimal amount of gold is lost.  then painstakingly pan the remainder out.  Altough i found out that muriatic acid will disolve the black sand away - waiting for a warm day to do it outside!
Any body use muriatic acid before?

All Black sands are not created equal. LOL!  It works to clean the stuff we have but will not Consume it.
