Can someone direct me to a good source for Suction Dredge Hoses, Couplers, Fittings , Hose Tips? There seems to be a lot of places that will sell one or the other. Is there a one stop shop?

That's what I normally do, Panning and Sluicing. I'm just getting into dredging. I've done it a couple times and decided to get one of my own. I bought some components, but need to get hoses and fittings and such.

Thanks Seldom.

I've got their site bookmarked, I just hadn't looked them up for that yet. I did a search for Suction Dredge Hoses and came up with a lot of sites that sold either hoses or a coupler and nothing else. I didn't see any that sold everything I need. I was just hoping to have one payment one shipment!

look in your local phone book for hose and fittings. Ask for prices and tell them what it is for and they should be able to help you for a lot cheaper than any prospecting supply. It help to take a prospecting catalogue with you or some pictures of a keene dredge so they know exactly what you need. Shop around, you may be spending pennies on the dollar locally.

Peace

Sean

i know it"s an old post, and i don"t know what part of country your at.but every major city has a grainger store(online) just tell them you want(size) cam-lock fittings, wire reinforced hose(suction),discharge does"nt really matter, firehose is great you just can"t do tight bends, but it flattens out rolls up tight!marine sanitation hose is great for suction but it"s pricey and only goes to 2".any major plumbing supply that handles trash, sump pumps will have corrugated hose by length or rolls..for hose clamps use t-bar style.for the cam-locks get threaded fittings and use pipe nipples for hose attachment so you maintain inside dia.for one stop shopping find MC MASTER online commercial industrial supply..if you can"t find it at MCMASTER or GRAINGER it doesn"t exist..gimp55

hey runninwolf, one of the best places is "the lifestyle store" you have to download their catalog, under the heading for hoses look for the clear suction and pressure hose they sell it by the foot these hoses will not kink and are very flexy...good stuff.
also "northern tool"has hoses and all sorts of fittind, quick disconnects,ect...
stay away from the green pvc hoses as they will kink and worse,if they set rolled up for any lenght of time you cannot straighten them up,takes about a day in warm sun...hope this helps........vic
