I have a portable 3" dredge and is seems more and more places are passing legislation prohibiting them.

Does anyone know where it is still legal to dredge?

I saw them dredging in New Hampshire and Maine last summer. I was also in Vermont and saw signs of dredging but did not see anyone actually dredging. Most states and provinces have laws that are so confusing that even the govt. people cannot understand them fully. Good luck.

I would say that states with large concentrations of environerds have very restrictive rules or downrite prohibitions on dredging.. Very definitely the left coast, not sure about the other coast or the middle.

Ah yes North Carolina, spent 4 yrs. at Ft. Fisher AFS.  The only place I've ever been that one could lay in bed, in the middle of the night, with out a stitch on and nothing covering you and sweat like a pig.  All in all though it wasn't a bad place to be, my daughter was born there.
