I encountered an interesting bit of prejudicial hypocricy by the administrator of this website.
I posted a reference link to the dowsing forum on my website, within the HFG dowsing forum only to come back and discover it deleted, and a message that read:
"links are not allowed that advertise other websites. ive removed alot of link like that. what you can do is go down into the classifieds and repost it once though." And yet, I see HFG has posted their link on this website and is welcomed without concern of competition. KUDOS to you all!
Rules, are all well and good. Administrators have the right to run their forums as they see fit. I inadvertently broke a rule on HFG, and I apologize.
The adminstrator posted his opinion of Dowsing (Dowsers) with a follow up reply;
"ive been involved in about every single type and phase of prospecting over the span of more than 25 years+. ive used about ev ery single type of equipment,etc, and i can tell you one thing for certain, "dowsing" with rods ( now, dont take offense to this) is a bunch of hogwash."Of course, an administrator is free to express a personal opinion, but when they send E-mail invitations inviting Dowsers to their forums, then speak as an authority on the subject, with underlying inferrences that Dowsers are untruthful in their claims, I do consider offensive.
