Is there any record of anyone finding gold, nuggets of placer, in wisconsin?  there doesn't seem to be much on the internet and I assume that if someone did they wouldn't tell anyone.  with that said, the glacers must have dump a bunch of it around the western part of the state.

There was a cool nugget I saw that was clearly moved by glacier. It was thumb nail size and had the striations from scraping on surrounding material. I think it was from Wisconsin, I can't remember where I saw it.

Cheers

Sean
