I have been doing some thinking lately about how much it costs to replace parts on my dredges, build new dredges, and upgrade. So I kept tossing things over in my mind with other equipment as well. I thought I would start to put together this list for people to input on and hopefully we can compile all of our frugile ideas into one spot so we can all become one big penny pinching machine! If you have anything you would like to see added to the list, just let me know and if you have in resources for the particular part give a price and a location... the more accurate and the more details the better.

Thanks to all,

Dredge Hoses
Keene Eng.- 4" Clear Flow $9.75 per foot

Pump Seals- Local Pump Shop $9.00
Keene Eng.- P200-P350 Pump Seal $39.95

Floatation- Gold Dredge Builders- 5" Polyethylene $115 Per Piece
Keene Eng.- 5" Marlex $175 Per Piece

Air Compressors

Air Hoses- Suprisingly enough the best deal is through Keene at about $35 for a 20' section.

Weight Belts- The best alternative I have found is a MOLLE Fighting Load Carrier with canteen pouches to hold some lead.

Regulators- Support your local dive shop. The going price for a used regulator tested and set-up is about $70
Keene Eng.- $129.95

Sluice Carpet

Miners Moss
