Sean,
Don't get me wrong, I am still going to build the trommel, just not a priority at the moment. I might have time to finish it before I go to Indiana for Memorial day weekend. However, I'm building the crash box/grizzly so I can use it either way. If I get the trommel done before then, great, if not, I'll use the hopper set up. I got discouraged when I ran into a few problems trying to bodge together the pump and little engine. I have to step back and re-design most of that set up, so it's on the back burner for now.
I have a bad habbit of having too many projects going on at once. I'm also in the process of starting up an E-scrap & refining business at the moment and that has been taking up a lot of my time. There is a LOT involved in refining and scrapping, but I'm getting the idea so far. Wish me luck.
My neighbor is from Idaho (SE corner) and tells me about his father taking him to the north part of the state when he was young to prospect. I'd love to make it up there one day as well. Have fun and get lots of pics along with all that gold you're bringing home to send to me
I look forward to learning more from your experiences.
Good luck and have a safe trip when you go.
Live long & prospect, Jim
