I moved to the Springfield, Missouri area about a month ago. Does anyone do any gold hunting around? I know that there are glacial gold deposits further north but unfamiliar with this specific area. Any help is appreciated.

doesn't look promising although gold has been reported in the St. Fran?ois Mountains east of you and perhaps in parts of the Mark Twain National Forest (but that's covering a lot of ground).
