well it happened, looks like suction dredging is now banned in the state of TN.
i think the problem lays with all the "gold" shows on TV, they picture all miners as environmental terrorist! and just gives us all a black eye! everyone needs to print off the report on the benefits of dredging and mercury removal , and trash removal, not to mention all the lead sinkers fishermen have been depositing for a hundred years! and honestly how many of us have sucked up fish? we are just doing what nature does with every storm, except we pick out the trash and toxins!!
