You meant where you are on the river or ontario?
as for the rivers lm gonna try collecting on the inside of the river bends and around any large boulders...
l have a keene sluice and a few buckets and shovel and of course a classifier.
l have the whole month of May off from work, so wish me luck....

any ideas no matter how small will be appreciated....

P.S   l recently heard of a neat idea on using a magnet and a washer on the centre of your gold pan, to help clear the black sand away from your gold.....l guess the idea is black sand is heavy because its mostly iron which is magnetic;
l thought this will be an idea l will try.....
