Indeed Xavier. Prospecting and mining is a natural and ancient science yet is treated in some countries like an alien activity that should be banned. We fight on quietly doing our own natural and ancient thing.

Here in the USA we just have a hard time Convincing the Government that we the People own the lands.   Funny how we Own it and have to Pay to Use our own lands.

The problem are the bureaucrats that see things in the wrong way, when you say hole they see a mine and when you say mine they see a global catastrophe, when you move a stone in the river they think that you have re-routed the river. They have never practiced any of our activities and then want to tell us how to go about it and how bad it is for the environment, what they fail to see is that by moving these stones you are actually helping the environments development. It's a bit like airing the ground round your plants to help them grow better.  Why cant they place people that have on hand experience rather than some one that only went to university and has no clue of what really is going on beats the crap out of me.  When I was farming I would shower up to three times a day but when I was a diver I'd just rinse my self off, some one that has never been a farmer would wonder why you would want to shower three times in a day, well I guess that if you were farming in Siberia the same rule would not apply to someone that's farming in Africa so what I'm saying is placing the right people in these bureaucratic positions would be of a great advantage to every one. Well hope that you find lots of gold, just keep the location to your self, you don't need the problems.

The right place to put bureaucrats is in the nuthouse, and throw away the key. Sorry that I am not so eloquent as I am  practical.

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.
