Anyone knows about philippine regulations for metaldetectors?

As I need to get in some detectors to phil in a few years when we moove to Phil!

You say you are moving to the Philipines, then I assume you live in another country.  You could check with the Philipine Embassy in your country and inquire as to the customs requirements for bringing your detectors into the country when making your move.

In a few years, regulations and import tariffs can change. A few months before your big move, write to info@customs.gov.ph . Quote the HS (Harmonized System) Code for metal detectors: 85438910, state your intent and you should be able to get the current situation.

Shouldn't be to hard to contact costoms and imports to start.

Next I would contact them on the Law of use.

A useful source of where you can/can't engage in metal detecting (esp prospecting) is the DENR. It's handy to visit the local branch and make a few friends there  Wink
