Hi, can a U.S. citizen get a permit to recreational gold pan in Mexico?

 Hello

NO

Unless you are a company and do your transaction reques to the goverment and pay your taxes, or you can do it under the table.

Do you know what state of Mexico are you planning to do gold panning. If you have additional questions i can refer you to someone that knows the law more than I do.

Take care

Probably won't do any in Mexico then, but I heard there was a lot still there and in central america and even on some of the Carrabean Islands still. Well platinum in the Carrabean anyways. Thinking more of going to Australia or New Zealand where the permit is cheap I hear, but I wouldn't mind checking Mexico out sometime once things settle down. I'll be sure to check with the laws though. Thanks for the reply.

I don't know any one that would want too.

The Cartels own everything down there now.

Just contact them, pay your homage and all will be well.

Until you piss them off witch case you get dead.

2o bodies found 3o miles from my house last week.

Have Fun.

About time for U.S. citizens to start thinking about forming malitias again. Saw them take pot shots at the guy on the Gold Fever show and his wife. I think a bunch of Gold Prospecting clubs armed to the teeth with snipers need to go gold panning in Texas where that happened. Go there to gold pan or hike, but if they shoot let them have it. Wake up this country and the Feds. Embarrass the hell out of them. Sue them, and tie them up in courts when they try to prevent us from doing recreational activities on the border and defending ourselves. Never happen though. Hunting clubs should also go hunting down there in mass once in a while during hunting season. Fishermen need to go fishing there in mass and armed.

Just thought of this. Recreational prospecting and metal detecting is getting harder and harder to do because of growing fascism in this country. One way to protect these rights as well as hunting, fishing, freedom, and the welfare of each citizen and community and their children from global interests would be if we all started forming community recreational clubs. Build a club house and meeting fascility and have cook outs and dance parties and talk about fishing and hunting experiences and only envolve politics when the community and their way of life and childrens future is under threat. Then register enmass to vote and have the community club president send letters to all local politicions what we are concerned about and what our community will vote and do if our concerns aren't dealt with. When times are good we will just be community gathering places. We need to bring back the sense of community and unity, only there in exists democracy and freedom. Well, no more politics from me, just a thought. More people envolved in and who understand our hobby, the safer it will become I believe.
