Add a chain and sprocket drive to the rear wheel and you could almost ride the thing to the site.

Thanks Big Andy,
I have always been a believer in recycling and almost every time I fabricate things I will "transform" one or more found objects into something completely different than their original intended use. It's a fun challenge to figure out how to make something work as something it was never intended to do. Violent

Looks good and solid. Not for when you must pack in though.

It all made it about 200 yards through the woods to a sand and gravel bar. The sluice box goes just about anywhere. The wagon is a little more limited, but still does pretty good as long as the trail is fairly even (no big gnarly rocks or washouts). It handles grades pretty well too. I have the hand brake that really helps going down hill too.

I have a friend who uses a brick worker's dolly for getting from the car to the stream. It's designed for moving an entire pallet of bricks across a construction site. You must know how bumpy that is. The hardest part for him to transport in his vehicle is that trolley.

Air tires with the load high above the ground. He can carry around 1000 pounds of gear over very rough terrain.

Dr. Sluice is that one of those pumps from Harbor Freight? And how does it work, I was thinking of buying one, but have heard mixed reviews???  It appears to me that they would work just fine, as long as the head was not to high, such as pumping up out of a creek and up a high bank?  Just wondering what your results are...Thanks
