Dr. Sluice is that one of those pumps from Harbor Freight? And how does it work, I was thinking of buying one, but have heard mixed reviews???  It appears to me that they would work just fine, as long as the head was not to high, such as pumping up out of a creek and up a high bank?  Just wondering what your results are...Thanks

I bought this pump for $199.95 from Rural King. It's a farm & home store like Tractor supply or one of those type places. It's 2" cast aluminum pump housing and a 7 hp OHV engine. Unfortunately it's not made in America. Guess where......works good for what it is. I can run 2 high bankers at just above idle. Plenty of flow.;..

Could the pump go on top of the highbanker near the wheels and get straped down for transport?

Yes, depending on where I am going and who I am with or alone. When my son goes with me he will roll the sluice box and I will drag the pump and shovels.

My son and I are going to give it a test run in April to see if it will recover any fine glacial gold. Should be a fun learning curve, I mean weekend....lol
With a little morrel hunting mixed in.

Morel mushroom health warning: These mushrooms contain fungus spores, small bits of wood and leaves, dirt, ants, bugs, snails, and slugs, and eating these things could not possibly be good for your health. Should you find some of these mushrooms whilst walking in the woods, please send them to me immediately and I will dispose of them properly for you.
That said, I like your transport systems for your gear. Good job.
I once had a two inch Keene dredge that I mounted a small bicycle wheel to the front and telescoping handles to the rear and could "wheel barrow" it about anywhere I wanted to go. Worked great.
