Here are two new vids that you may enjoy. In the first vid we run across a illegal dredging operation. In British Columbia it is illegal to use a river dredge or even a Sluice for that matter. We have many outlaw prospectors here in BC. Anyway, enjoy the vids.

You cant by law sluice. Pics of sluicing on the net have got me in trouble. From computer prospectors ( those who stake ground on a computer that dont even no how to pan.)   The new placer miner in BC doesnt stand a chance of getting any good ground because of all the computer prospectors sitting on it and you cant use a sluice or a river dredge or a highbanker so how are you supposed to move any real ground anyway.  The government has made the placer miner in BC a outlaw. The old prospector in the following pic would in the modern world be a criminal.

WOW what a terrible set of laws, sounds like the corporate miners are recieving all the opps and you are all getting the stick. We will hope it never comes to this here. Its hard enough here working around all the claims of which here in Oregon many are never touched no less worked. They are only trying to sell their claims.

Its the sad the classic prospector is becoming pushed underground by the computer prospector and the digital age. There are not that many real prospectors left in BC. So much ground is untouched as the computer prospectors try and sell these claims online. I have done this as have many others but at least I go to my claims so do some others who at one time used to post on Spindle. But there are some in BC who just sit on there claims keeping the real prospectors away driving them underground and on top of that the governments placer mining rules and laws banning the use of Sluice boxes and river dredges. It disturbs the fish they say. So the odds are against the small time miner here in BC, Especially the new prospector who really has the odds against him.

Anyway, happy prospecting
Jackson

Says alot too revamping certain laws, like proving their is precious metals by the prospector and to ensure the land is worked by the same. As for the selling of claims ( public land ) it is a bunch of crap whos time needs to bee ended. Sorry about hijacking your thread.
