Go Up Go Down

I live in Rainier, WA about 20 miles South of Ft Lewis/Tacoma.

I am trying to figure out where to go with my youngest son.  I am pretty much handicapped with bad knee problems and on oxygen due to COPD.

I went to Waddell creek in the Capitol Forest just a few days ago and found lots of color.. I will go back there soon.

I am also planning a trip up near OMAK soon.

I am hoping someone can point out an area to try a little closer to me, Maybe down around Yacolt or Centralia...

I have an A51s Keene sluice and a bunch of classifiers and pans...

At any rate, it's good just to get out again  a few days a week.

Cheers!

Thanks for the info, I will spend some time checking them out..

I managed to locate one closed claim in the area of Elbe,WA.  Pretty recent claim but i have hunted the area it is in pretty extensively so I have some idea where to look on the claim.  I will save that for later.

Think we will go to the Omak area for a few night starting Fri Morning.
