There is no cheap detector that will fill your needs, you will need a top of the line detector.

If a good detector isn't in your budget right now, there is an alternative. Prospect for gold the old-fashioned way before metal detectors were invented. Study the geology of the areas, look for history of gold mining there, learn what kinds of rock are associated with gold deposits. Once you find a suitable location, it's time to get some exercise with a spade and pick axe.

Two Meters is more then your going to find from any machine.    Never seen gold nuggets over a foot in size.

Ruwanjrk, are looking to prospect with a metal detector or are you looking for a buried treasure?  That may affect what kind of detector you want to get, but it won't be cheap no matter what.  Like homefire said, you won't get two meters out of any of them, despite manufacturers claims.

These guys know what there talking about, I dont when it comes to prospecting, never done it. They can point you in the right direction for a detector for that. I want to try prospecting someday, but thats alot of work, I figure it would be easier to rob Gold Digger of his loot lol  Funny
