Hey there StringFrenzy, Marx IS quite good.
Garret authored a few of the TH'ing books in my library and he's real good. My fav, Successful Coin Hunting! Very informative read. Nice to see he's mentioned "the Master" a few times too.
GoldFinger, forgot to thank you in my last post here for your input on Zane Grey, the greatest perhaps, of All Western Writers. Neat little tip you threw in there about the leads you can get from some of those old western tales too.
Karl himself mentioned a few times in his writings that he uncovered a number of caches along the old trails by doing just what you said. Nice!
Budman, It really looks like you know what I'm talkin' about, by your impressive sounding Von Mueller collection.
Do you have any of his "Prospectors Gazzetts or however you spell it? I've never even seen one but I've heard so much about them, I'd love to read any part of any of them... :
Stout is also a very good and informative writer as you say. I've read his stuff since I first started reading Western & Eastern Treasures, years ago.
Haven't had the pleasure of reading or for that matter, ever even hearing of R.Hult though.
Ruby, is that as in Ruby the woman TH writer? Pls clarify for this bonehead.
Doctor Detector, I've saved you for last my friend!
I'm tickled pink to think that you are going to look this awesome dude up because of something I said!
Grab whichever one (#6 or #7) you can get, won't matter which. Once you get started on it, you'll hardly be able to put it down. If you never buy or even read another book of any sort again Doc, make one of these your last, you will NOT be sorry, I promise!
