Go Up Go Down

My hunting buddy John and I discoverd a camp last Nov.We knew it was in the area but had discounted the actual spot because it had no fresh water near. One day we were talking to a old fellow who informed us that a spring used to be near this particular field but a home was built on top of it. We got permission to hunt the field and as fate would have it we found a nice camp. Here is a pic of some of the over 800 bullets we have found since. Tsgman

800 (!) Buletts ?!  Cheesy

This is an incredible find! I was proud to have discovered approx. 300 musekt balls on a field over the years but 800 rounds beats it all! Congratulations!

Did you also find other nice relics on that field?

Are there 4 ringers in that lot? Or are they all 3 ringers?

Congrats on the really super find.  I've got a few civil war bullets found them in the bottom of a box of stuff that came from an auction.  I guess i should try to find them again and see what all i had  in the little pack i found.  Hopefully i didn't lose them in the last move.

Yes I found my 1st US buckle, then my 2nd and 3rd, all in about a 4 week span. We also found the usual camp stuff, buttons, and spurs etc. Here is a pic from the finds 3 weeks ago. It includes my 1st batwing! Tsgman

Sorry I just got a new Dell computer and the US buckle pics are not on it. They are on my HP computer in my sons room. I do have a pic of my display case, the US buckles are on the top shelf in a small case. Tsgman

No 4 ringers? All are 54, 57, some 69 calibers.
