... I was a bit frustrated to read that there has been made a nice dsicovery just about 300 meters away from my home. And worst thing I had allready known about it but was not there right in time due to my own lazyness.
Some months ago I had learned while being on one of my regular town councellor meetings that there used to be a WWII military site in a field nearby my home. We were even shown an US WWII air shot of it.
Since then I had wanted to hunt the grounds there but for some reason haven't had time to do it yet.
Now there was some detecting carried out by our city department as the grounds ought to become construction land.
Guess, what happened! They came up with lots of WWII relics such as helmets, dog tags and more. I should not have been so lazy and been there first!
So what do we learn?
