Hi all im a new member from today on your great site!I whas usung my metal detector on a beach in south africa on diaz beach close to mosselbay and foun a couple of looks like gold goins about 1 meter under the sand can anybody tell me what kind of coins these are?

Roman Gold coins on the South African Beach? No way ... finding one of them in Europe is very unlikely ... and finding one in South Africa is just impossible.
