This is a geat site. Makes me wonder how this all got started and how it runs. I will donate after I recover from being Santa. My biggest problem on the site is the drop down menus disappear while I'm trying to select a subcatagory from the drop down. The next problem I see is not in your control and I have seen it on other boards. People are too general in the subject line. "PLEASE HELP!!!!!" Please help with what? Are you being robbed? Or how about... "One Question"..... or "What do you all think?" I think you could be more specific please. I think you would get better responses because we are all thumbing through hundreds of posts competing for our attention and I don't want to open up every single one, except those that interest me. And I'm sure people that COULD help would appreciate a little more subject matter in the subject line. Wise

Hello Okletsee , I agree, and have learned to move mouse slowly over the drop down menu to make it work.

Thanks for your thoughts.

The site in this version has been around for 4 years but it was not before 2 years ago that it really got much viewers. However right now it is growing so well we eben need to move it to a server of its own.

Well, unfortunately the drop down menue will disappear once your mouse / pointer leaves it. Personally I mainly use the board index for navigating the different boards.

As far as the subjects goes I unfortunately can't do anthing about it but you sure are right.

Nope - the drop-down menus don't work for me either. I can get to the second item listed in a drop-down but as soon as I get to the third (or further) the menu closes No no!

Barbarossa, make sure you have both Java and JavaScripting turned on in your browser. Also, make sure you have the latest version of Flash installed on your computer. The Java stuff is all that you need to work the DHTML pull down menus but the Flash can keep you from viewing things correctly like Smileys, video clips, animations and so forth.

If you want to use the drop-down menu, centering your cursor and proceeding at moderate but steady pace produces the best results......Personally, I prefer Christian's recommended method of navigating from the home page board index.

Hi Christian - I have checked and my Flash player and Java are fully up to date and Java is enabled in my browser (IE8).

It still seems that the menu won't remain open.

It does work perfecly with the Google Chrome browser so it seems to be an Internet Explorer problem (no surprise then).

Im on a pease of junk Toshiba Satelite computer.

Using the On board finger pad, I have to be jonie on the spot.

One Zip AND after that I get dropped.

Other then that, I'm gOOd.

gOOgle ads seems to leave me hanging .

Some times I can get to what I want faster by Re Initiating the forum then going back to Last Post!

What's with That?

I use IE as well. To get it to work I click on the mouse and hold it down as I move down through the menu. Then when i get to where I want to go I lift off. The subcatagory I want is highlighted and then I click on it again and I'm in the subcatagory. It's a bit of a workaround but it works.
