It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

The remainder of this conversation seems to have gone POOF!

I presume those are NOT chocolate chips, right? Big garnets, maybe.

The gray stones look a lot like volcanic tufa, like gold deposits can be found in.

Can't say much else..... like GoldDigger1950 says.... a pile of rocks.

It's hard to deny that those are rocks. I looked at them several times. They're rocks, all right. A pile of them.

I think cw posted the pics and lost the explanation. But those definitely look like rocks. Will be interesting to find out the rest of the story.. I think.

We are in agreement. They're rocks. Whew! Glad we cleared up that one.

You 2 gold diggers crack me up. I can see you are both experts in and beyond your fields and looks like you are really good friends. Keep up the scientific bickering and cross-analyzing. I am enjoying and learning. I wish I had found this forum a long time ago! Kiss

We are, indeed, good friends and are having a bit of a go at people like CW who make such posts as this one. If he had a legitimate question, he'd get some good advice. That's the way this forum is. We do have fun here most of the time. CW probably thinks he's discovered some rocks with treasure signs on them. By the look of those rocks, they are just ordinary rocks. A pile of them, in fact. Why he brought them from his digging site is simply anyone's guess at this point. Perhaps sometime soon he'll enlighten us as to why he believes they are special.

I mean, don't they look like rocks to you? A pile of rocks?
