Similiar to the previous story...we have a bulldozor in common. A buddy here has asked me to share this story. My step son & his wife purchased her Aunts older home after she had passed. The Aunt had told the three sisters there was money buired in the yard but it was never found until the kids bought it. Before they moved in they decided to remodel and add on to the home. Bull-dozing some trees down a co-worker was walking the yard and found a silver dollar. Than another and another. Shutting down the bulldozor they picked up over 3 thousand dollars. About of 1/3 of it in silver dollars and some paper money as well. The paper money was'nt in very good shape however. The workers could have very easily kept there finds but knowing my step son as well as they did they called him. Told him what they had found. He in turn called his wife and they meet at the house to see the broken glass and the change spread all over the yard. After picking up several hundred dollars they called my stepsons wifes mother. She came to see the finds. She in turn called her 2 other sisters and they arrived. Not knowing how many coins where still under dirt my stepson called me. Told me I had to come over and bring my detector. I had NO idea what I was going to look for. When I arrived they had picked up over 3 thousand dollars. Before the day was done we had found 4636.00. (makes me think there another 364.00 there) I think still today there is more there under the addition of the house. The 3 sisters all worked at banks so they new what they could do with the damaged paper money. If you take it to a bank they can run the serial numbers and exchange the damaged funds for new. I have now seen what I have heard over many years. Folks truly did indeed bury there valuables. I fully intend to go under the house this summer and look around till my knees bleed if necessary to see if theres more. Or I just happen to have found this bulldozor that might just do the job for me. I just need to add a longer cord...(Its a childs remote control detector) So, I guess if you ever hear "theres money in them hills" you better take a look!
