Hi Robert.
I have the T2+ and have started to play around a little.
Beaches: Absolutely no go in the wet areas.
Dry sand its a bit chattery but it goes deep and I found some really old stuff.
Inland: I have been using it on 2 sites and it is still a noisy machine. But I can tell you that it really does produce excellent results.
Now don't get me wrong, I have only been out a few times with it and it may very well be that I am not getting it set up properly, but I am battling with the ground balance. The machine makes a lot of really weird noises from time to time but I ignore it and re-balance.
Once again I must state that the soil in the one site is a dark grey-black colour and at 30cm you can actually feel heat radiating out of it. I seems to be quite acidic as well as the copper coins that I have pulled are quite badly affected.1940's coins that is.
If you are a silent search type of person I would try and get a demo in your areas of search. Here in South Africa its abit noisy and unstable but if you can handle that and maybe set it up a bit better...killer machine!
Here is an example of what I can pull in about 1 hours search on a fairly sparse site.
Hope this helps...I think this is a more advanced skill level type machine.
