Undecided   Just like to know if the pin point option is worth paying an extra 100 bucks on a machine? looking at the tesoro silver umax but then noticed that the cibola had the pin point on it, but cost 100$ more. I'm coinshooting "silver" in good ol upstate ny soil.
I have two machines that has no pin point and just use the criss cross method to find target.if pin pointing will give me a advantage in finding closer and quicker then I  can consider putting out the extra jack.....like to hear from the old timers and pros and see what ya think........

HI Steve with my sovereign i never used its pinpoint feature, but now my machines have got them more accsessable i use them more and more and it does help , but sometimes you can and do use it more than you should, it is a good feature, but when you start messin with it too much, it will slow you down

The other machines you have has to do with weather or not you have NO MOTION type detectors.

There is No Need for a Pin point mode on them.

My self, I would put the funds towards a better machine and a No Motion type at that.

OK peps after going over it and going over some more reviews then talking to a Tesoro Rep.,then talking to my local detector dealer I think I made the right decision by choosing the silver umax for my detecting needs.
A very helpful crew at Tesoro that will lead you in the right direction, and the life time warranty you just can't beat..... Great

After I get to know this machine i hope we can work well together.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of the Tesoro Detectors. Oh is the extra $100.00 worth between the Cibola & Vaquero? See you can always move up in price, but only you can decide if it's worth the extra difference. I was between the Cibola & Vaquero. Only think I saw was the manual ground balance difference. I bought the Cibola before the price increased in March. :Smiley
