If your actively looking for leads on Texas Treasures and possible metal detecting sites, or if you are working an actual lead, the Texas State Library and Archives Commission may be of use. Here is the URL with their on-line resources (including information on how to get copies of maps in the Texas State Archives Map Collection) It may even help you narrow down your search for Country records by helping you figure out which microfilm reel numbers you need to search.
