These soldiers must have talked about the horrific wounds from these balls as they would have witnessed them first hand, this ball "could" be one extracted by a surgeon and tossed out so that's a new theory for me to concider, having said that there must be area's where there are dozens of these balls but you would need to find where the surgeon's tent was as I'm sure he would just throw them out.....HH.......Johnn
