Happy Monday! Got home from work and had to go out some more. I really have the bug now!
Spent about 2 hours in the backside of the park again, and used  a bigger coil on the Ace250. Right off the bat, the same path I was on this weekend, I hit my first silver coin! It's a 1955 US quarter! Cheesy I didn't know this till I got home awhile ago and cleaned the dirt off. I also found more bottle caps, pull tabs and 3 pennies.Oh yeah, and a small trinket! Still no wheaties, but I know I'll run across them soon!
Here's a picture for you all, have to share my "treasures"!  Cold weather is here again, it's gotta warm up soon!

Hello Capnrich,
                     Am glad you got a chance to get out and detect. Its been a few weeks now since Stonebreaker and myself went out. the weather has been  Crazy with rain and snow!
thats a nice looking quarter you found, My old eyes may be decieving me but is that a pre 64
quarter? if so its a nice piece of silver!!! and if its not the way I look at it your at least .25 cents richer Smiley thanks for sharing Your find..Best Wishes ,,,,Rob
