Nice, good sized, ornate pin, Seldom. Enjoyed looking at it. Sue

Yep.....the hat brass is called the Corps Stack.   It is worn centered on the front of the crown of the campaign (smokey the bear hat) or above the visor on the service cap (worn in the winter when the corps wears the "pink and greens").   I still have mine after 30+ years.

If you find a much, much smaller version (about the size of a quarter), it is probably off of a Junior's belt buckle.    (You can tell what year a cadet is in by his/her uniform accessories)

You know BA we don't find a lot of A&M brass. Bet there is some on the campus parade grounds over on Pelican Island but doubt you could get permission  to hunt it.

yeah, a cadet would have to be mighty careless to loose any of it.......(what I regret NOT keeping is my "corps brass"---that's the collar piece with the knight's head on it---I gave mine to some friends. )

Will keep my eyes open at the resale shops and garage sales maybe we can replace it for you. Now I will go find a picture.
