Today I hunted a Lutheran parsonage yard. It was a good yard. Silver ring with small turquoise stone,1956 Washington, 1952 Rosie that was hit by a mower plus 5 wheat cents, medalion with car on the front, toy cars and clad.

Nice finds and a nice day for you.
Did you have to get permission to detect there? I never thought of detecting a church yard, because I usually pass up private properties and just detect public properties. Don't want people getting mad or shooting at me. Shocked

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.

KB, you're going to have to change your name to "Libby Boy" because you are cleaning the town of Libby out of all its lost treasures!  Great finds!   Great

Karl, I have detected a few church properties and almost always found old coins and rings there.  I have always searched them with permission!

All the properties I hunt I have permission from. I learned from experience that door knocking will get you the best finds. I have a card I give peoe with all my info on it.

Excellent Idea KB. I think I will try that myself,  and pass the idea along to my fellow club members. What better way to get the public on our side.

Been members of Clubs before.  After a few years things allays go messed up.   Someone in the group figured out they was the boss and tried to take charge.  Something about the Human Race me I think  they are Anankaki and the rest of us slaves.
