Yes, off the shelf, I have one for the silver only, I would not reccomend putting just anything in the silver dip, it will turn plated stuff black. The other one I use is for fine jewlery (gold and diamonds).  I would like to use that more often. John

Yes, I tried to give it to my wife, she's not the nazi pendent wearing type, that almost backfired on me. The Japanese ride mopeds here alot and really are into the nazi / skull membrabelia. I am sure that pendent was lost by one. Although, young service members like that stuff too. I looked for the pendent and could not fine it in any web stores, I was tring to see if it was solid gold or just plated, it does have some weight to it. Good eye mate, thanks for noticing! John

very nice finds there! I'm freezing my butt off out here in Utah (just had about 3-5 in of fresh snow yesterday)! Unfortunately the metal detector sits now on the shelf in the garage doing nothing for at minimum another 3 months or more. We're most likely not going to take a road-trip to the south so that's out too.

Here's a tip for you and others who store their detectors out in the shed or garage. Remove your batteries. In the cold weather, no problem at all. It's good for batteries to be stored in temperatures below 50F. But in the spring, on those warm days before the weather finally breaks for summer, the temperature on those places can get very, very hot. Batteries leak in high temperatures and you could face a repair bill before you get out again.
