Go Up Go Down

I have hit this old fairgrounds 3 times during the weekend. Lots of clad and 1 silver dime 64, six wheaties the oldest is a 37, one token and a 1957 1 cent coin from the Netherlands. I also found a realy old button. This fairground gets hunted some, but its still got some good stuff. I also had police officer watch me for about 10 minutes then he left.

Thanks
Todd

Very nice haul!! Can't beat silver in any shape or form!! Except gold. Grin Same here, had a cop watch me at a park, surprised he didn't come over and ask me anything.

Wise  I'd say you had a good day, it's especially nice when you pop up those shiny ones.
Your finds look similiar to the ones I've found at an old carnival ground thats been worked
heavily. Using the E-Trac? I picked up a used Excalibur 1000 for under 600 in a pond shop today, the detector doesn't look abused. I've got seven days to try it out, if any problems leaks etc. I can return.  Have a good one .........John in Va...

I luv the sound of silver. I have a bad habbit of cherry picking places just trying for silver.
The cop left as soon as I started walking towards him. I was going to ask him if he wanted to give it a try.
John
The first hunt I hit it with my fisher F2 for about 15 minutes then the rest of the time I used my E-Trac. Nice price on the used Excal, good luck with it, they are good machines.
Thanks
Todd

The cop probably got interested in what you were doing, he might be looking for a detector
now..I got interested in the hobby back in the early 80s watching someone in the water.
I'll probably change the shaft on the Excal to a different configuration....John
