You've been a busy treasure hunter! Nice finds. The soil there seems to be very harsh on metals, though.

That is true. Lack of public services in combination with wrong mentality of individuals and you end up with messy places. It is really pity for this nice country.
Another matter is (if you noticed already) that no gold or jewelry is found. Greeks for a few reasons they are not wearing any gold or silver or precious anymore so that they do not loose items . Nevertheless i love MD and it is fine with me.
