Found a couple of good rings...cleaned up good. One was from the other day when I posted a Washington tie clasp..so I am putting the pic in today, the other is a gold ruby ring...I was excited to find that one. don't know how gold it is or how ruby it is,,,,,just happy to find 'em:) Crazy

That red ring is nice. I think it may be 10 or 12 k with a glass or paste stone sold by Sears from around 1900-1950's if that's the case it has more value  as an antique than as scrap. I will try to find time to look through some book later. The first one may also be from sears nice stuff

yes, it is always good to find good stuff...kind of like playing golf...u have a bad  round..hit 29 balls out of bounds, but you hit that last shot of the day good and u got it figured out and ur ready to come back and play again. u find alot of trash but it's so great to make that find...like u r finding bob...u just know it's out there

Chip I have done some looking around and think I am trying to make the rings older then they are. Believe BA nailed it 40's or 50's
