Pops, pretty cool. Its suprising what you find in your own yard. I recognize jpg.007 its a distributor cap off a 6 cyl engine right?, jpg.006 is a mystery! How big is it? Say compared to the quarter.

One of the first things I found with my detector was a "cache" of 26  clad and copper pennies in my front yard beside my driveway. I puzzled about their origin for some time. the oldest was 1980 and the newest was 1997. That meant they were probably from around 1997. I asked both of my kids if they knew anything about them since they were still at home in '97. One admitted cleaning out the car ash tray by dumping ashes and coins on the ground and then picked out the nickels dimes and quarters and left the pennies and ashes. Mystery solved!.

Went out Sunday after 5:00 PM air temp was 65, sun was out, park was full of people, I hunted about 30 min found no keepers.
