thanks to crepitis and his plan B i got to use my new machine been used to the garrett ace 250 i found the G2 a completely new learning curve with its very fast recovery and completely different noises the best way i could describe it as donald duck and sweep from sooty and sweep on happy pills i also found the machine lighter and more comfortable to swing after digging a ton of iron and lead to get used to the numbers it was displaying i found a bit of a spoon three worn out coppers and a very interesting button from the british india steam navigation company

Really impressive button.  It should clean up nicely.  (btw, love the camera...it's great seeing really clear pictures of finds).

Hi KR,
Its a pity hollow buttons don't fair too well after a long time in the ground but at least you got to research it, and the baground story of the company is interesting...........HH.......Johnnn

Thanks for the pictures and story krango41.  I like hearing as much about the different hardware used
as well as the story about the hunt and found treasure.  Learning never goes out of style.
