Go Up Go Down

From the land of the Bluenose.....on one halibut of a ring thing the past few days.  Started the swish with the Seahunter MK11 but was having a headphone issue so I switched to my back up AT Pro with land headphones.  First find of the day in the marshy part off the beach was a 1918 fish scale , 5 cent piece, a tad bent out of shape but silver nevertheless.  Let me tell you me bouy after swishing around in that muck I was ready to go home and take a shower.  Already have half a dozen welts of swimmer's itch on my body and I'm sure I'll wake up tommorrow with more.  Swished back to the main part of the lake and hit the little 10k, then a pair of nickles and as I was exiting the water the 925 ring.  Taking the next day off and giving the knee a rest till my outing on Thursday with Navy Davy!

Talked with the folks at Garrett today in Garland, Texas and  plead my case with buying 3 sets of water proof headphones in the last 2 years.  They are going to replace them for free.  No wonder I have swung Garretts only for over 4 decades with service like that!  And no I don't get any kickback for saying that....just a satisfied customer!  Oh joy.

Congratulations on the finds.
I am using the same machine and I had the same problem with the phones.
It’s very easy to fix and the phones will last for very very long time. All you need for the fix it’s a tube of silicon and a small knife.
I will try to get some pics to show how to do it, but you need to keep the out of water especially out of salty water before the fix to prevent corrosion.
