hey folks it was another warm day couldn't dig on saturday  but went yesterday . found my first large cent  a 1888 canadian cent  and a 53 quarter 2 53 dimes  10 wheaties  some clad and copper  and zincolns . camera sucks but its all i got . hope ya'll was able to get out  second trip to this old gas station  it took a while to get permmision  but glad i got it . JOSEY

Thanks for the pictures and the story Grey Rider.  I have found that my cell phone does better
taking pictures close up than my camera in close up mode, go figure.

Thanks everyone! I enjoy readin bout and seeing ya'lls finds too . i'm researchin several places i hope they all pan out if not at least a couple ..  i like reading the history of places and people,  but most of the time  its harder to find out the history on a place or person than it is to find what's lost  out there  on  a place  does that make sense  ? lol !  par for the course, and   makes the smallest  finds feel good when it all works out though  makes me wish i would have listened more to the older folks stories about places and people  alot was not recorded or was lost  other than stories told to and by folks who lived it  they are a treasure themselves ahh to be young again in my time anyway,  now a days it would be harder just to hear a story about places cause the tellers are fading  does that make sense ? anyway   Happy Huntin YA'LL  Josey
