Go Up Go Down

Took the 8000 out for a walk yesterday afternoon. It had been nasty, rainy and I was in desperate need for a clad fix. At least the rain was a gentle one that allowed the dry ground to soak it in and actually do some good. I let the sun dry the grass all day and spent just over an hour at a local park that has been pounded by me and others many, many times. This park gets a lot of kid traffic and in spite of being pounded, will always produce some clad. Here is my meager finds..........

Just enough targets to keep you interested
but not near enough to wear you out. A good
hunt......... Grin

If Gold is where you find it, then I need to start looking somewhere else.

Except he didn't show you the pile of trash he also found and discarded. A good day out none the less.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Nothing wrong with finding Clad James. For me, its the rush I get digging it wondering what it is before I see it, regardless if its trash or treasure. Heck, we all find our share of trash, no need for a pic of that, lol At least your getting out there and sharing your finds!!
