Here are the coins in Japan. 500Yen=$5, 100 Yen= $1, 50 Yen=.50, 10 Yen =.10, 5 Yen = .05, 1 Yen =.01.
500 Yen coins are finding quarters and 100 Yens are similar to finding nickels and dimes in the states. I sure am going to miss MDing the beach in Japan. Moving back to Texas soon. Hope the hunting is as good there.
Some samples of daily finds which average from $25.00- $220.00 in japanese coins per day. In all my MDing in Japan I have only been under $10.00 in coins maybe 3-4 times.
