Hi SF,
Funny though cannonballs always give a positive signal when buried, when you expose them they give a "flip/flop" signal on my machine also the signal is always a big one.
I know what you mean about farm stuff in the UK I leave a lot of horse shoes behind after ,my annual visits.....HH,,,johnnn
