Go Up Go Down

Had the weekend to dig in various local beaches where there usually aren't many people hanging out in during the summer, usually I see guys with metal detectors digging the usual places but I go to the area where people tend to avoid especially where it has that wild sand Grass.

The At-Pro hit the small ring and the broken bracelet in the grassy area but closer to the water found the big ring about 6in down, but no rock wife was disappointed lol, just for the hell i followed the wall and hit on the shamrock right on top no digging just moved some grass and it gleamed up.

All tested as 14k but my scale is broken need a new one, also some spare change nothing special.

The most disappointing part of the hunt was a strong hit near the water, the AT-Pro said 10+ in the 75 range, I kept digging at one point I had dug a foot down but still nothing definitely need a pinpointer.    Great

The thing about the AT-Pro is the pinpointing is harder than you think the detector works great, have not had any issues with mine and i use it on beaches in Mass, but the pinpointer is erratic.
Even when i hit an uncertain signal I tend to switch from pro mode to reg mode and ground balance again, the best advice I can give is to use ground balance very often.
