The weather has changed for now, had to take advantage of that. don't often go out on Mondays but it was very mild all snow has gone and maybe Sunday will be just as good.
We were at the WW1 site and found some of the usual finds....One of them was a key with a "war amps" tag with the vehicle reg...L 15225 and dated 1962 can this be traced back to the owner after
all this time?..........A nice 1859 large penny "one cent" collar dog 1915 boy scout badge another one I didn't have and the side pieces off a pair of glasses "Motor USA" but no glasses.
two training rounds .303 dated 1914 and 1915...........HH..........Johnnn

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.

Hi MF,
I have only known these tags as coming from "the war amps society" even had them sent to me every year I dont know what it  was called back in the sixties so you may be right, what would be interesting is if there was a way of finding what kind of vehicle it was associated with. plus it was lost over fifty years ago the owner would possibly be in his/her eighties by now.
