Believe it or not this Archaic Spearhead was the first thing I ever dug during my first day of detecting.  This has changed my life.  ADDICTED!

The Curator at the Museum Said between 3000 - 5000 BC.  This point has been classified as "Southern Shield Archaic" this piece apparently predates the bow and arrow.  These copper pieces were the first examples of fabricated metal ever in the Americas.
