Nice finds.  It's also nice that you and your sweetie have a pastime that you can enjoy together.  BTW, if I lived in Chicago, I'd be out in the woods too on a Sunday afternoon, since there's nothing worth watching on tv this time of year  Wink

Feels great to have the support of your significant other, especially when enjoying finding treasure together. But, the real treasure is in the quality time we spend together. Thanks for looking. Ah, I don't change a good hunt day for anything in TV, I record everything just to skip the commercials Grin

Wheaties, but especially Indian Heads, are my markers for a good spot. Also, if I see broken glass from old milk bottles or sodas, I slow down and MD the area really well. Thanks for looking

Are there woods in your area? I haven't seen that you hunt in woods.

Can't wait to find a Barber quarter or half. In the mean time, any silver would make my hunt a delight. Sweet spot indeed, I am looking on the oddest spots with the hope they were missed by others. It's working!

Don't abandon your dream. It will come. I remember when I found my first Mercury last year around this time. It also came with company, but it was under a tree in a trashy area of a park.
