Go Up Go Down

After much research off this site and the Internet, I got a good buy on a "un-used looking" Whites MXT. No scuffing on the coil cover or anywhere else. After setting it up per the instructions, I took it out in the front yard last night and immediately found three modern pennies among the plethora of Sycamore roots. I got a lot of targets from 2" to 11" (wow). I am going to play with it a bit more before I strike outside my yard. This is going to be fun fun fun!
Thanks to this forum I was able to learn a lot about my new hobby.
Bernt

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Now that is CUTE! I have been an above ground gatherer for all my life...arrow heads, Calvary buttons off of old trails, stage stops. I love wandering around the deserts and now have a new tool to increase my luck and make me slow down some.

You will love the MXT. Now save up your money and get the Sun Ray in -line pointer to go with it. You will have an excellent setup.

Good Luck.

Mike

I've owned many detectors and owned a MXT also...that was a very capable machine and especially for coin hunting. I had owned a Fisher CZ-5 and liked it because it could go really deep to find relics and coins. When I bought the MXT, I used it a while and then decided to trade it for a used CZ-6 which I felt would reach down deeper than the MXT...Well it would, but it also had me digging way more trash on the beach and in the ground...so I definitely wish that I'd have kept that new MXT. I plan to get another MXT or DFX...Huh?Huh?Huh?Huh??
