You could possibly clean it up with the electrolysis (spelling?) method.. there have been a number of write-ups about it. I think that might work. The weight may be a bit tricky, but try that.. just do a search in the forums where it's talks about preservation/cleaning and restoring your finds in these forums (Bitburg mentioned that in another post).. hope that helps!
